We usually travel to the start point by car but there are always lifts available\; we do sometimes use public transport\, such as bus or train. W e take a packed lunch and drinks suitable to the season and return home us ually around mid-afternoon.\nOnce or twice a year we have two nights away in a hotel exploring other areas of the beautiful British countryside and walk 3 days\, weather permitting!
